AMETEK Surface Vision Enhances Support for U.S. Paper and Metals Industries with New Appointment

AMETEK Surface Vision has increased its support for paper and metals mill operators in the midwest and west regions of the U.S. with the appointment of Dan Gauch as Key Account Manager. 

ADaniel GauchMETEK Surface Vision works with mill operators to improve the overall quality of the finished product through its world-leading automated online surface inspection solutions.  In his new role, Dan will work directly with mill operators and processors to understand their individual needs and tailor a solution to meet their web inspection requirements. 

With an engineering background, and technical training and knowledge, Dan is well-positioned to understand the requirements of the customer and industry while identifying how and where Surface Vision’s products can be best utilized to achieve the customer's targets.  

Dan has experience working in the semiconductor and optics industries, developing relationships with businesses of all sizes — from multi-billion corporations like Intel and General Electric to small shops. His experience places Dan in a perfect position to help customers install systems as well as support them with spare parts and training to ensure maximum return on investment.

Commenting on his position, Dan said: “I’m excited to join AMETEK Surface Vision at a time where the paper and metals industry is ramping up after the pandemic. I’m looking forward to bringing a fresh perspective to these markets, using the experience I’ve gained in other fields to strengthen AMETEK’s support and product offerings.”

In addition, Dan will be working with the wider Surface Vision team in analyzing industry trends to ensure customers are best positioned to meet both current and future market requirements, from quality and standards, to process improvements and safety.

AMETEK Surface Vision benefits customers by improving overall quality.
