Packaging

Paper Packaging
Paper is a common, cost-effective, environmentally responsible solution for a range of packaging applications, from general parcel wrapping to patterned gift wrapping, or for custom-printed bags and boxes.

The surface integrity of packaging paper is very important. Defective paper can tear or split easily, damaging contents. It also presents a poor image for customers, affecting supplier reputation and repeat orders.

In packaging, paper can be used to simply wrap contents, or can be corrugated for extra protection against mechanical shocks. It also provides bags which can be easily recycled.

AMETEK Surface Vision’s experienced engineers have been working in the paper industry for decades, providing web inspection solutions that cover the entire production process. Our systems ensure product quality and deliver increased yield for major manufacturers across the world.

    • Paper Coater
      Coater

Paper can be coated to introduce or enhance properties such as surface gloss, ink absorbency and water resistance. High-precision monitoring can ensure uniform coating across a smooth surface.
